LEAGUE BARRACKS 1E
It's time to work. It was hardly his first time looking at a prosthetic, but it certainly was a bit of a shock to see a boy so young missing quite so much of his limbs, as demonstrated by both Gwyar's and Raki's sudden jolt, their eyes growing wide.
"Oh dear!" Gwyar said, gawking at the metallic limb for a moment. "Most impressive yet, I would say!"
He nodded at the blonde youth, tipping his hat at Arashi Akiyama. Better to praise his hard work than pity his circumstances.
His gaze shifted towards Hideo Kino, a boy he vaguely remembered working with during the HsT, and then back to Arashi, taking in both of their words and suggestions before speaking up again.
"Yes. One of us should give chase to our large, missing friend." He said, before making it quite obvious who that person would be as he began taking steps towards the forest, before turning back to the group. "Given Mr. Ranger's words... whatever went into the forest way is the most dangerous escapee. So... do allow the Police to handle it, young citizens!"
The man flashed the two a bright smile that Hideo almost certainly could not perceive.
It was a particularly dangerous pokemon even amongst the former Champion's stock- he could not just send two civilian youths after it while he went about the city.
This wasn't really part of the mission he had discussed with Commissioner dahlia goode, but Gwyar was still serving as an Officer of Hoenn at that very second. No one was subjected to unnecessary dangers if he could prevent it.
"The forest aside- we need more eyes within the city itself!" He pointed out, nodding at the two youths.
The city was larger than the nearby forest, considerably more labyrinthian, full of verticality as well as nooks and crannies to hide within, and plenty of noxious fumes from vehicles that might prove disorienting for canine pokemon.
It definitely required quite a bit more leg work than a silent, lonesome forest with large, obvious tracks left all over the place.
"I'll scout out the forest while trying to keep out of our escapee's sight. Once you two are done, let's regroup and coordinate a takedown." The man said, taking out a cellphone. "Let's exchange contact info."
Oh, sweet, numbers! His contact list was drearily small... so that was nice!
-at least 1 participant should mention and tag a league character (reference them; they don’t have to be in the thread) they know in response to the story about BAILEY COOPER.
